The Queensland Government has launched a new website offering over 70 datasets for public access. The open data portal includes several datasets in the registration, licensing and public transport areas. In launching the portal, the Queensland Premier Campbell Newman said all Queensland Government departments will release a comprehensive Open Data Strategy by April, setting out their plan for the ongoing release of data to deliver on the State Government's commitment to being open and accountable.
