NFC chips are expected to be deployed in a range of devices including mobile phones, digital still cameras, PDAs, and PCs, to allow for simple and intuitive identification and information exchange. While working to efficiently address the needs of these consumer/mobile applications, NFC devices will need to be highly cost-sensitive.
