Field experiments in years 2010 and 2011 aimed at assessing of the usefulness of salicylic (SA) and acetylsalicylic (ASA) acids in the cultivation of fiber flax. The aim of the study was to improve plant resistance to abiotic stresses (soil water deficit, high air temperature). SA and ASA are the active substances of the bio-products UP 208-200 SL and IWN-11. These experimental bio-producls were applied at the beginning of the flax rapid growth phase (BBCH 32 - plant height 18-20 cm) in doses of 1.0 and 2.0 L ha~(-1).
