In late 2003, my co-founder and I were huddled be-hind a two-way mirror with Doug Garnett (a Response Editorial Advisory Board member) and Skye Weadick of Atomic Direct. We were watching a focus group Garnett had commissioned to investigate the notion that consumers would seek out and watch advertising — a revolutionary idea that would soon be called Expo TV.
