It's one of those gritty examples of entrepre-neurship. When Jee Kim became a mom, she found getting around with her new baby frustrating, with few choices for lugging around formula and snacks. The formula dispensers spilled while snacks got crushed in zipper bags. Wouldn't life be great with an all-in-one container that keeps contents separate, crush-free, and stacked to save space? Why yes, it would be. So she launched her own line, called Packin' SMART~®, 10 years ago. Then, of course, Kim - like all other entrepreneurs - started climbing the sales mountain. Kim says she first sold through wholesale and retail accounts domestically and internationally.
