Non-profit organization Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) has officially launched the first phase of the Canadian province's newest take-back program for used and obsolete consumer electronics.rnThe program requires manufacturers (brand owners, first importers, franchisors and assemblers) to pay steward fees on waste electrical and electronic equipment supplied for sale in the province.
