Getting the glass out

This past Tuesday morning, I set out my 65-gallon single-stream recycling roll cart at the curb and placed my humble 13-gallon yellow bin for glass on the side. Like most avid participants of any recycling program, my behavior is somewhat automatic-I know what is accepted in my program and what isn't and which weeks to put out my trash can and the like. But this week, I was brought to mind one of my favorite aspects of my hometown recycling program-that glass bin on the side.
