The International Solar Energy Society (ISES) awards ceremony 2007 took place during the Solar World Congress 2007 inrnBeijing, China on 21 September.rnISES honours individuals and institutions for their achievements towards the advancement of solar energy. This year's winners were:rnProf. D. Yogi Goswami, Immediate Past President of ISES, who was honoured with the Farrington Daniels Award in recognition of his leading role in the field of solar energy as an educator and researcher; for his numerous publications in technical literature; pioneering research contributions in renewable energy; and inventions in the field of solar energy.
