Innovators shine at 2nd Annual Energy Innovation Awards

Individuals and companies flying the flag for energy innovation and sustainability have been honoured at the Second Annual Energy Innovation Awards, held in June 2011 in the UK. The awards, the brainchild of Cheshire's Energy Innovation Centre, attracted entries from across the UK and Europe, with entries up 34% on last year's inaugural awards. Greg Barker MP, Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, sent his congratulations to all of those who had worked to make the awards such a success, and particularly commended the winners. Companies from Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Wales were among the award winners.
