This is a comprehensive, well-presented and accessible encyclopedia giving a fresh insight into one of the most controversial and emotive strands of political discourse and theory. Spanning two volumes, the reader is offered over 500 entries covering individuals, groups, movements and ideas associated with fascism.rnRoger Griffin's introduction is very insightful and puts the topics explored by the individual entries into context. I found this to be an interesting introductory essay, one of the most striking features being the chronological balance which is also notable throughout the volume. Obviously, many of the entries centre on individuals, events and issues connected with the period around the second world war.
