Ancient History has a strong presence on the internet and in print so it is often difficult to decide how to distinguish a new site. Livius is not new and it is not always a site that will come near to the top of a general search for information because it is, perhaps refreshingly, rather amateurish in itsrnlayout. Its content, however, is far from amateur.
