Internet Women's History Sourcebook

The Internet Women's History Sourcebook (IWHS) is an example of what humans can do that computers cannot. IWHS was created a decade ago, in 1998, by Paul Halsall, a historian and specialist in classical civilizations. It is a resource for college students, researchers, and those interested in the history of womankind from ancient to modern times and across a variety of countries and civilizations. It is a subset of the Internet Ancient History Sourcebook, Internet Medieval Sourcebook and Internet Modern History Sourcebook websites, all of which were created and edited by Halsall when he was a PhD student in history at Fordham University. Dr Halsall is no longer at Fordham, but his website continues to be supported since it remains an invaluable resource.
