摘要

Geotargeting, failure fee, suasionetics and puff piece are just a few of the terms which appear in this fourth edition of the Dictionary of Marketing. These show that marketing, in common with so many areas of business, is full of jargon and buzzwords. Many of these new terms are the result of the growth and development of internet based products and services which touch almost every area of marketing. With the third edition having been published in 2003, many areas of marketing are today radically different.
