The Weather Observer's Handbook

The main purpose of The Weather Observer's Handbook, as stated on its first page, is to set out information on the choice and use of weather-measuring equipment, and in particular, Automated Weather Stations (AWSs). At the most basic, these can consist of a single sensor with an automatic datalogger; the most complex would be completely automated, remote, multi-element recording systems. The content is aimed particularly at first time purchasers, but the amount of detail means there is information relevant for all levels including experienced professionals.
