Encyclopedia of Nanotechnology

The Encyclopedia of Nanotechnology, here reviewed in its electronic or "eReference" version, covers a vast array of subjects from a wide variety of academic disciplines and emerging industries. It would be difficult to overstate the importance of this area of scholarly research. The work includes lengthy entries arranged in a dictionary fashion with large numbers of see references to guide the reader. Articles, typically authored by a large number of co-authors, are attributed and give author affiliations. Entries include multiple subheadings, figures in black and white or colour and formulae, as appropriate. The articles also provide extensive reference lists. The cited materials are primarily from academic periodical literature and scholarly books, but patent literature is also well represented.
