A total of 43 years after its first publication in 1968 as The Price Guide to Antique Furniture, the book is now in its sixth edition. This now classic fixture on the reference shelves has over a thousand black-and-white photographs and nearly 500 colour plates. The captions to the illustrations of each item of furniture carry descriptions and background, with a note of recent sales and an estimate of current (2011) value in sterling.
