Introduction to the Special Issue

摘要

This special issue, entitled "Object-oriented Real-time Distributed Computing", contains six papers that are based on a selection out of the papers that had been presented at the 6th IEEE International Symposium on Object-oriented Real-time distributed Computing (ISORC 2003) and the 9th IEEE International Workshop on Object-oriented Real-time Dependable Systems (WORDS 2003F). For publication in this issue, the original papers had to undergo further review. Their contents had been refined, expanded, and updated.
