摘要

A novel monomer having a dibenzothiphene moiety, i.e. 2-(p-vinylbenzy)dibenzothiophene (1) was prepared by the Ni-catalyzed coupling reaction of 2-bromodibenzothiophene with the Grignard reagent of p-chloromethylstyrene. The radical homopolymerization of 1 and its copolymerization with styrene (St) were carried out at 60 deg C for 20 h in chlorobenzene (3M) using AIBN (5 mol/100) as an initiator to obtain the corresponding polymers in high yields. From TGA and DSC analyses, both 10/100 weight-loss and galss transition temperatures of thecopolymers were found to become higher as the content of 1 increased.
