It's been an exciting couple of months; I've done plenty of flying and have even managed to get in the workshop and do some building. Meanwhile eldest son Jack has nearly worn out his Weston UK MagnumR. The purchase of this model was an intentional move away from lightly loaded foamies, its increased wing loading and significantly higher speed making it a perfect introduction to jet flying. Truth is, it's really earned its keep. From nervous first flights to well-positioned manoeuvres, he's quite at home with it now and more than ready for the next stage.
