Available in one of three colour schemes and a development of its earlier Speed racer, HiSpeed, Pichler's revised 1m span machine, offers a curvier, faster looking profile. Designed in Germany and made in China it's a laser-cut balsa / ply ARTF sold complete with a power system, prop, spinner and three 9g servos. Pichler says that the HiSpeed places you in 200kph territory, 124mph if you prefer, and, as you'll shortly read, they're not far off. But let's not race ahead. Build quality is very good and although the covering is of the sticky-back variety, it's nicely applied and wrinkle free. Mainly sheeted, the strong wing uses a symmetrical airfoil, strip ailerons and, as it tapers towards the tip, you'll find some washout.
