In pursuit of speed

Stuart McFarlane, pictured here with his wife Lorraine, recently made the journey to Balenstedt airfield in Germany with the intention of increasing his own British speed record for an electric model. A brief ferry crossing and fourteen hours of driving ensured that Stuart had himself in the company of some of the fastest pilots in the world as he prepared to raise his current record to over 200mph.
