A reader emailed recently and asked about my preference regarding engine choice. Truth is, I don't get into preferences or general comparisons as it creates all types of headaches... for me, that is. You only need to look at a few internet forums to see what sort of faceless people put in their twopence worth and intend it to be gospel. However, more often than not, what they say is pure dishwater. Now, before you start twisting your knickers in knots around my neck, no, I'm not knocking forums; they're a never-ending source of information, experimentation and results. But what I find annoying is the rat-baggery of some who put their mouth in motion before engaging their brain. If I was to tell someone I preferred Blerto engines over Razblat engines, that preference would soon be cast globally.
