Based around the popular and relatively cheap 3S 2200-3000mAh LiPo batteries, E-flite's 1.2m warbirds are easy to fly and really look the part. The range has been increasing steadily over the last few years and I've often found myself trawling the Internet looking for what might be coming next, so when the first sniff of their P-47D Thunderbolt came along I was soon marking the calendar for a release date.
