Silver Line reaches 'substantial completion,' MWAA receives approval of nearly $1.9 billion TIFIA loan

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) was approved by the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) for a nearly $1.9 billion Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) loan for the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. MWAA applied for the loan in conjunction with its local partners on the Metrorail Project, Fairfax County and Loudoun County.
