A right royal occasion at Dunrobin Castle

Dunrobin Castle station on the Far North Line received a royal visit on August 9, to mark the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Duke of Sutherland's Railway. HRH Prince Charles, who is known as the Duke of Rothesay north of the border, was greeted by the Lord Lieutenant of Sutherland Dr Monica Main, who presented him to the Earl of Sutherland and local representatives from the rail industry. Prince Charles then toured the station with its Honorary Station Master Daniel Brittain-Catlin.
