Morgan Sindall to construct Ashington line stations

REOPENING of the 18-mile Northumberland line to regular passenger trains has taken a major step forward with the appointment of the company to construct the six new stations. Northumberland County Council has appointed Morgan Sindall Infrastructure as the primary contractor for this £40 million portion of the total scheme, following a competitive tendering exercise.
