More GA 720' Aventras in traffic

Greater Anglia has now taken delivery of more than 20 Class 720 Aventras, after 720561/563 arrived at Ilford in early April. Including those in traffic, undergoing testing or in warm storage, so far 81 of the 133 electric multiple units ordered have been built. The deal was placed with Bombardier Transportation prior to the company's sale to Alstom. They were all due in traffic by June 2020, but none entered service until November last year. They are being rolled out across the GA network, with 720s' now serving Ipswich, Clacton, Colchester Town, Braintree and Southend Victoria.
