£237m remodelling results in King's Cross part-closures

NETWORK Rail has announced two weekend part-closures of King's Cross this summer, to enable work to begin on its £237 million station throat remodelling project. A significantly reduced service will run on July 13/14 and over the August Bank Holiday weekend (August 24-26), to enable the start of renewals of life-expired track, sub-systems and overhead line equipment for a distance of up to 1.5 miles from the buffer stops.
