RAIB investigates Metrolink injury

The Rail Accident Investigation Branch is investigating how a passenger was injured at the Ashton-under-Lyne terminus on Manchester Metrolink. The passenger, who is said to have been in a "vulnerable condition", had alighted from a tram that had arrived at the stop at about 2255 on March 12. He then leant on the tram as it departed, fell from the platform and landed on the track.
