Tributes and standing ovations for industry's life-savers

FIVE life-saving railway heroes and a railwayman with nearly 60 years of unbroken service were each honoured at RAIL'S National Rail Awards 2019. More than 1,000 industry leaders and guests gathered at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on September 19, to see South Western Railway Welcome Host Jeffrey Fry presented with the NRA's first ever Lifetime Achievement award.
