Hull Trains sets October date to introduce first new Class 802/3

The first Hull Trains Class 802/3 will enter traffic in October, the open access operator has confirmed. Five five-car bi-modes are on order from Hitachi, with the first nearing completion at the company's facility in Pistoia, Italy.Following testing at the site, it will be brought to the UK with a second HT set in the first week of September, and will enter traffic the following month.
