Passengers feel 'short-changed by rail,' watchdog to tell review

Passengers have a limited understanding of how the rail industry is structured and believe they are not getting what they are paying for, according to research by public watchdog Transport Focus. Ahead of interviewing former British Airways chief executive Keith Williams on March 12 regarding the Rail Review he leads as independent chairman, TF released findings that it will submit to the panel. It asked passengers in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff during January for their views.
