Former BR senior operations manager Peter Rayner, now Chairman of the Accessibility ft Inclusion Forum of the Chartered Institute of Logistics ft Transport, believes that the extension of driver-only operation is ignoring customer needs, and is discriminating against disabled travellers and the growing number of older people.
