Announcing results for the year to December 31 2016 on March 16, Balfour Beatty plc reported revenue of £1 894m at the UK business within its Construction Services division. 'As forecast', this was down 6°/o from £2 024m the year before 'as improved bidding disciplines and selectivity adopted in 2015 resulted in lower levels of contracts in previous problem areas', notably the Regional business unit.
