No movement in Merseyrail dispute

Talks between Merseyrail and RMT ended on March 20, with both parties blaming each other for failing to make progress in the dispute over the introduction of driver-only operation with the new EMU fleet. Merseyrail had proposed the talks after a 24 h strike by RMT guard and driver members at the TOC on March 13.
