摘要

The paper considers a method of message transmission with the aid of modified relative phase-amplitude modulation. The method is based on the use of time sampling of messages, and on phase-keying of the carrier oscillation by some selected values. The relative method of transmission of these values is employed, and the signal spectrum is limited in a bandpass filter. It is shown that a generalized gain of 3 dB can be obtained if the spectrum used has a width equal to the doubled width of the message spectrum and the input signal-to-noise ratio ρ ≥ 10 dB.
