This month's title, Radio's Second Century, is a very readable, well-researched collection of 15 essays by US and Canadian academics on various aspects of radio. It reviews the last 100 years of broadcasting but also looks forward to our new multi-platform world. I feel that the text is primarily aimed at undergraduates study media and related disciplines. Although the book is mainly focused on US broadcasting it is of sufficient interest to attract a global audience.
