Between 1200UTC on 8 March and 1200UTC on 9 March hundreds of stations throughout the Commonwealth will compete in the oldest DX contest of all, the RSGB Commonwealth Contest. 1997 will be the 60th Anniversary of this CW event and you are cordially invited to enter. To commemorate the occasion, special certificates will be awarded to those working 50 and 60 Commonwealth band-call areas . The contest has been widely publicised. If conditions are kind it will be a great opportunity to work DX.
