Following UP on the description of the Elecraft K2 Multiband HF transceiver kit in August's QRP, it would be wrong to assume that high-tech amateur radio kits are only available in the USA. A similar UK project, the GQ2000, has been described in SPRAT, the journal of the G QRP Club. Hands Electronics, who offer full or part kits for that design, have recently announced an upgrade.
