The two GB QSL Sub Managers have a heavy burden to bear. We send them literally thousands of cards every few weeks. They meticulously sort them and await envelopes from the organisers of Special Event Stations (SES) so that they can be despatched. It is not an easy job and we try to make life a little easier for them by producing a set of simple SES QSL guidelines, which we send out with every SES application. Just carrying out the simple procedures described in the leaflet help considerably to deal with the deluge of cards produced by these stations. Of course, being a hobby, they are not cast in stone nor do we seek to call them rules. But just doing what they ask helps considerably. If any member would like a copy send an SASE to the Amateur Radio Dept at RSGB HQ.
