Most of this month's column is devoted to computer EMC but first, the continuing saga of car radio keys operating on 433.92MHz. As reported in August's EMC, the EMC Committee suggested the formation of the RAKE (Radio Activated Key Entry) group which includes representatives from motoring organisations, the motor industry, vehicle security manufacturers and the RSGB EMC Committee. The RAKE group has initiated a working group on a code of practice for vehicle radio key systems. The working group met on 13 September at MIRA (Motor Industries Research Association) where I represented the EMC Committee.
