As we moved into September, HF conditions started to improve as expected. G3SXW and G3TXF headed off again (but announced too late for inclusion here), this time to Chatham Island, ZL7. They were workable from the UK on all bands from 10 to 80 metres. Indeed, as I write this, mid-evening, ZL7/G3SXW is loud and easily workable on 10m, while ZL7/G3TXF is equally workable on 12m. At the same time, Californian stations are booming in on 10m. Roberto, EA4DX, reports that he worked 7800 QSOs as H40DX from Temotu and 18200 QSOs as H44DX from the Solomon Islands and that logs are now on line at his web site.
