摘要

433MHz short range devices operating within the 70cm amateur band are not really an EMC matter but more of a spectrum utilisation matter. Further to the items on vehicle radio keys in June and August '06 EMC, several members have asked about standards for licence-exempt short-range devices that operate between 433.050 - 434.790MHz with a maximum ERP of 10mW. In particular, some devices are limited to a 10% duty cycle, which means that they are only permitted to transmit for 10% of the time on average.
