Vehicle radio keys. There have been some interesting responses to the item on 433.92MHz vehicle radio keys in the June 'EMC'. First, the 430 - 440MHz amateur band is a secondary allocation to the Amateur Service. Amateur radio transmitters are not the only signals in this band. It seems that poor RF selectivity in vehicle radio key receivers is not the only cause of problems as there is also the question of other 433.92MHz licence-exempt short-range devices that can operate on the same frequency as vehicle radio keys.
