Antennas

I regularly receive material describing antennas or antenna accessories for which I am grateful. They provided grist for the column and enable readers to describe their experimental work and often invite me to make comments. The phased vertical [1] and the mobile CobWeb antennas [2] are such examples. Before publishing, I sometimes build the antenna to check its performance or try to find some endorsement from an authority. The phased vertical [1] and the analysis on this antenna by W4RNL [3] is an example.rnThe other method of checking an antennas performance is using an antenna modelling program. I use EZNEC, which is a program that I have used for many years.
