500K Continues. As you may have already heard, the 500kHz experiment in the UK is continuing beyond its original end date of 29 February 2008. Ofcom issued the announcement in early February and all NoV holders should have received an updated document with an expiry date of 28 February 2009. The most exciting part of the announcement is that the power limit increases from 100mW ERP to 1W. This brings us closer in power to our continental neighbours and should allow some interesting comparisons between 136 and 500k at the same power level.
