Some members have asked what powers Ofcom has to deal with interference from Powerline Telecommunications (PLT), in particular powerline networking adaptors (PLAs) that are being used to distribute digital TV 'on demand1 signals in houses. The RSGB EMC Committee's experts on interference legislation believe that the way to control interference from PLT is two-fold. First is through proper compliance of the power line adapters to the EMC Regulations.
