Celebrating 100 Years

Girlguiding UK will be celebrating 100 years of Guiding from September 2009 to 2010 on 20/10/2010. Ofcom has givenrnpermission for UK amateur radio stations on air to celebrate the centenary to use callsigns in the format of GGl00xx or GGl0xxx. Applications for one of these Special Event Calls must be made by a holder of a Full UK Amateur Radio Licence and be supported by an appropriate letter, on headed paper, from a Girlguiding UK appointment holder for the group.
