TQM in the college classroom

摘要

Adopting the philosophy of total quality management (TQM) in the classroom could revolutionize how education is pursued. Unfortunately, I have found that most college faculty members perceive it as an alien business philosophy, especially when terms such as "customer" and "value" are used. Since incorporating TQM into my calssroom faculty members have discussed their concerns with me regarding the use of TQM in education.
