The IRS and TVA are leading the way

Over the past decade, the federal government has embraced several efforts to streamline operations, cut costs, and better serve the public, with the most recent being the National Performance Review. This effort began when Vice President AL Gore commissioned a team to study federal government operations and make recommeddations on how the government could work better at less cost.
